As 2025 comes to a close, I’ve been reminiscing about all the beautiful poetry and writing-related opportunities I’ve had this year. From my first poetry reading at The Betsy Hotel to The Somatic Series poetry workshops I held at MAD Arts, from attending the Sewanee Writers’ Conference to attending the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, I was constantly surrounded by an incredible community of writers, and I will forever be grateful for that.

I’m also grateful for all the magazines that have published my poems recently — special shoutout to Poetry London for being my first international publication, and a second shoutout to Barrelhouse and Bennington Review for nominating my poems for the 2025 Pushcart Prize!
